Lauren Jane Clancy is a Miami Beach based artist whose mixed media paintings explore identity, memory, and transformation. Born in northern New Jersey, she grew up with storytelling and newspaper print via her father’s work. Her path has included acting, entrepreneurship, writing and was shaped by her 2012 stage 3A Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis and becoming a mother of twins. She uses layered textures, found text, and bold color to convey vulnerability, strength, and spiritual reflection. Her paintings have appeared in regional gallery exhibitions and community art fairs. She is developing a new introspective series set to debut at a Miami Beach show later this year. Collectors are drawn to her emotional depth and how her work captures life’s complexities.
