Artist Description of Work:
B-Side explores the beauty of imperfection, nostalgia, and the fragments of memory that shape our identities. Inspired by the raw, unfiltered spirit of 1990s alternative culture, the work combines layered greens, distressed textures, exposed mesh, and scattered bursts of color. Its organic composition evokes the passage of time, where moments overlap, fade, and resurface in unexpected ways. Like the overlooked track on the reverse side of a record, B-Side celebrates the quieter, less polished aspects of our experiences, the things that often remain beneath the surface but ultimately become part of who we are. Both chaotic and contemplative, the piece reflects the beauty found in what is unfinished, imperfect, and unapologetically authentic.
