Artist Description of Work:
Relic evokes the presence of an artifact recovered from another time. Its restrained palette and deeply textured, carved surfaces suggest something unearthed, preserved, and carrying the quiet energy of an unknown history. The work explores the relationship between material, memory, and the passage of time, inviting viewers to consider the traces left behind by experiences that can no longer be fully reconstructed. Both ancient and contemporary in feeling, Relic becomes a meditation on what survives.
