Artist Description of Work:
Portal captures the charged moment of transition between one state of being and another. White and charcoal gestures move across a neutral, grounding surface, creating the sensation of pathways opening and energies shifting. The composition reflects the uncertainty that often precedes transformation—the chaos before clarity, the disruption before renewal. Portal becomes a visual threshold, suggesting the possibility of stepping beyond the familiar into an unknown but transformative space.
