Artist Description of Work:
Primordia draws inspiration from Muladhara, the root chakra, traditionally associated with grounding, security, and primal life force. The work incorporates black tourmaline, dragon’s blood resin, and palo santo essential oil, materials selected for their symbolic associations with protection, purification, and spiritual grounding. These elements are integrated directly into the composition, transforming the painting into a symbolic vessel of intention. Primordia explores the human need for safety, stability, and connection to the earth, offering a visual sanctuary rooted in the idea of returning to one’s center. Framed
