Artist Description of Work:
This is a layered piece which originated from me adding mylar onto one of my paints before I added paint. I wanted to preserve the line. I then used acrylic paint on the mylar and added a layer of translucent paper. Then I layered both the mylar and translucent paper onto a drawing I created on Arches Hot Press Watercolor Paper. I was interested in the ethereal qualities of the lines and the materials.
