Artist Description of Work:
Money incorporates subtle green newsprint bearing the word “money,” serving as both the inspiration for its title and a focal point within its abstract composition. Created during a period of personal upheaval, the work explores the complicated relationship between financial security, desire, independence, and emotional stability. Through its layered textures and fragmented imagery, Money considers the significance we assign to wealth—not only as a practical necessity, but as a symbol of freedom, power, and possibility. Framed
