Artist Description of Work:
This painting is based on a photo I took with my iPhone when my friends and I were 18, walking the streets on carefree nights out. It captures a sense of nostalgia. A time when we didn’t have a car, didn’t have many worries, and felt completely free. It reflects that in-between stage, the transition from childhood to adulthood, when everything felt wide open and full of possibility.
