Eunice Oghinan is a pastel artist whose dreamlike compositions explore grief, healing, and reconnection. After losing her mother in 2022, she returned to her art practice as a way to process emotion and create gentle spaces for others to feel. Working primarily in soft pastels, she blends pigment by hand to build intimate imagery centered on women, nature, and the inner world. Her visual influences include Odilon Redon’s mystical color work and Mary Cassatt’s tender, expressive figures. Oghinan hopes her work invites viewers to connect with their own stories of love, loss, and peace, offering each piece as a small refuge in a fast-moving world.
