Flowers In Springtime

Year: 2022
Dimensions: 40 x 30 in
Medium: Acrylic, ink, and resin on canvas

Artist Description of Work:
Flowers in Springtime presents an intentional contradiction between its vibrant, uplifting appearance and the emotional circumstances surrounding its creation. Made during a period of profound personal turmoil, the painting became a means of escape and creative release. Its exuberant colors and fluid composition conceal a more complicated emotional narrative, exploring the distance between outward appearances and internal experience. The work considers how beauty and despair can coexist, and how artistic expression can transform difficult experiences into something unexpectedly luminous. Framed
