Artist Description of Work:
A Spirit Guides Our Automatic Love 16 1/2 inches x 9 inches - Gold and Lace Melting Away 13 inches x 5 inches - signed on back with typewriter on handmade scrap label Can be sold together ($500) or separately ($250 each). These two works are made from upcycled patchworked bridal textiles which are then hand-manipulated, beaded, and embroidered. Both artworks were made as part of the ongoing Union series, which explores themes of partnership, commitment, intimacy, and love.
