Pangea Kali Virga

Pangea Kali Virga is a Miami based artist whose textile works integrate social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and innovation. Originally from New York, she creates wearable art and installations from upcycled materials using zero waste methods.  She layers upcycled fabrics, natural elements, and recyclables to build narratives that act as cultural markers and environmental statements. She is an artist in residence at Oolite Arts (Miami, FL) with previous artist residencies at Foundation House (Greenwich CT), Peter Bullough Foundation (Winchester, VA), Deering Estate (Miami, FL), and ProjectArt (nationwide), and others. Her work has been featured in three solo exhibitions at Deering Estate, Vizcaya Museum, and Miami Beach Botanical Garden as well as over two dozen group shows including at MOCA (Miami FL) . She is now developing a series of sustainable textile installations and leading public workshops on zero waste art. Collectors value her work for its blend of beauty, advocacy, and potential to spark meaningful social change.
