Artist Description of Work:
“el Cajon” was inspired by a indulgence of sight and sound performances where the stage came alive under stomping feet, swirling skirts, snapping heads and fingers, and shoutouts in unison to the tempo of the Cajonista. Banners rose upwards as lights dimmed revealing larger than life shadowy figures against pixelated backgrounds. Eight photos were used to create the digital collage, then four screens were made for the CMYK process to produce all the colors. Unframed 38"x25" Framed 44"x31"
