"Dark Matter" is a monochromatic, black-on-black textile collection crafted from velvety materials that balance softness with weight. It explores the unseen, much like the emotions we carry but do not always show. Layers of fabric hold memory—loss, resilience, longing—woven in silent expression. Tightly bound sections mirror life’s pressures, moments of heaviness and constraint. Yet in looser, flowing areas, there is release—a breath, a surrender, a quiet space to move freely. Subtle tonal shifts and rich black textures reflect the complexities of our inner worlds, where pain and beauty intertwine. This series invites not just sight but feeling—to confront the emotions buried beneath the surface and find power in what is often left unspoken.
