Artist Description of Work:
This conceptual painting represents the timeline of possibility and transformation. Our past determines our future. Though we cannot change our past, we can choose to "adorn" our present mind, spirit, and body in such a way that intentionally reshapes our personal legacy and, in the process, transforms our individual and collective future as "glad and sublime." The title is inspired by a line in Walt Whitman's poem, THE FUTURE
