Collection: Xavier Manrique

Xavier Manrique

Xavier Manrique is a photographer and film director whose work bridges both mediums to tell visual stories shaped by place and memory. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and raised in Miami, he draws early inspiration from the landscapes that surrounded him.

His practice includes a distinctive use of expired film, a process that depends on experimentation and the changing conditions of each roll. This approach informs images that balance control with unpredictability.

Alongside his photography, Xavier directs films marked by careful art direction, thoughtful cinematography, and character driven storytelling. He has directed and produced two feature films, CHRONICALLY METROPOLITAN and WHO INVITED CHARLIE.

Collectors are drawn to his work for its clarity of intention and its ability to hold both narrative and emotion.
