Victor Saul Urroz Lanzas

Victor Saul Urroz Lanzas is a ceramic sculptor whose fluid forms explore gender and self-perception. Born in Tipitapa, Nicaragua, and raised in Florida, they earned a BFA at Florida International University and received a Ratcliffe Art and Design Incubator fellowship. Drawing on their experience as a nonbinary queer artist, they shape clay to question fixed ideas of identity and embrace fluidity. They have shown work nationally at Laundromat Art Space, Supermarket Gallery, and NCECA in Utah. After residencies at Watershed Center and Starworks Ceramics, they are creating a series. Collectors appreciate their work for its reflection on transformation.
