Collection: Lauren Faith Dawson

Lauren Faith Dawson is a Miami-based fine artist whose work moves across painting, sculpture, and multimedia, with a focus on biology, motherhood, and the life cycle.

After earning her B.F.A. in Sculpture and Photography, Dawson opened her own portrait photography business and ran a successful food blog. She has lived in Boston, Austin, and Philadelphia, and now resides in Miami, Florida, with her husband, son, and twin daughters. She was an art teacher for many years and recently transitioned to full-time artmaking while earning her MFA, ’27.

Her current practice centers on tactile, textile-based sculpture, using hand-crafted fabric tortellini to explore sensory memory, lineage, origin, and the emotional and cultural significance of domestic rituals. Her work is held in private collections across the United States.
