Collection: Amy Kutell

Amy Kutell works primarily in oil and is known for paintings shaped by lived experience and a close connection to the natural world. Based in Coral Gables and raised in New York, her early years in the Adirondack Mountains formed a lasting foundation in color, light, and organic form.

Her development continued at Cornell, where technical training deepened her practice, and a semester in Rome strengthened her interest in classical methods and travel based work. She chooses materials according to the emotion or moment she hopes to capture.
