Join us this Saturday from 12 pm to 2 pm at ARRAE Gallery for Coffee Conversations with artist Amy Kutell. She will be live painting in the space, offering a relaxed chance to see her process unfold in real time, ask questions, and spend part of your afternoon surrounded by art. Drop in, grab a coffee, and linger as long as you like while Amy works on a new piece in the gallery.

Amy Kutell works primarily in oil and is known for paintings shaped by lived experience and a close connection to the natural world. Based in Coral Gables and raised in New York, her early years in the Adirondack Mountains formed a lasting foundation in color, light, and organic form.

Her development continued at Cornell, where technical training deepened her practice, and a semester in Rome strengthened her interest in classical methods and travel based work. She chooses materials according to the emotion or moment she hopes to capture.

Plein air sessions remain essential, offering lessons in light across environments and cultures. Her paintings invite viewers to slow down and recognize the beauty of ordinary moments.
